Please recommend Sealant

Hi.

Read the Durogloss Application Tips/Method Thread. But still a bit blur.

#101 is a polish.

So, should I do Sealant firt, followed by polish or the other way around.

Which product number is a sealant from Durogloss?

Is below method correct steps :

1) Wash car with shampoo

2) Clay

3) Rinse

4) Polish (#101)

5) Sealant (#??)

6) Wax

er...if not wrong can do #101/#501->#601->#105->#951

Hi, I am of the view that you should take the following steps:-

 

#901 -> Claybar -> #101 (Polish) -> #105 (Sealant) -> Top it off with #951 (Aquawax).

Hi Bro Wire...U should do #101 or #501 and follow by #105..AW or quick detailer for maintenance..

Here are the steps to do....

4) Polish (#501/101)

5) Sealant (#105) Need at least 24 hours to cure

6) Pure Canaubar Wax

if I 1 2 add #601 can???

Yes you can...In fact #601 can be added into #105..BUT in seperate bottle..This will speed up curing time for #105..As recommended from DG HQ...

Thanks to all for the prompt reply.

My ride is 3.5years liao. Didn't really take good care of the paint work.

Decided to keep my ride for another 2 more years, so, planning to do up my ride.

 

My plan :

1) Wash with shampoo

2) Clay

3) Shampoo again and rinse

4) dry

5) Polish with #101

6) Touch up paint (repair paint chips from stone on road and inconsiderate driver at carpark)

7) Sealant #105

8) Wax

 

Is this OK? Or should I do touch up paint first then Polish?

8) Wax

 

Either way should be ok, i will go for touch up then polish, as polish might be able to make the touch up paint level with the original coating. But for touch up paint you have to wait for it to dry first before polish.
