got m16 can leow... sar dont know how to use, during the range in one my ICT, we had the chance to fire Sar for fun.... guess what, almost all of us held the sar wrongly. Right hand was clutching the mag thinking it was the pistol grip

Thanks for the info. I've served 10 years already AND 6HK and 3LK. Left one more HK, which is due in Apr but my wife due in Apr too. Dunno whether to defer or not...I also want to finish it once and for all. 38+ years old le. Can't chiong or do IPPT anymore...

Bro, those are awarded for long service award lar.... frankly just few piece of "unimportant metal"... the most important and precious is the cert they give you... telling you thank you very much for your service all this year, now you old liao, no longer needed so fark off... ........ better make sure yuo laminate it, put it safely somehwere.... just in case someday, the comp in MINDEF clash or something you kena call back for ICT....

I ord in 96 and was called immediately for ICT in the same year. Then every year we would have ICT. Ours was a mono intake.

 

But i have missed 1 or 2 HK ICT due to reasons. So i was like falling behind my other army mates.

 

In 2006 or 2007 (Sorry cant remember which) after our last HK ICT, I had only 5 HK ICT unlike others who had 7 . But I was still given the "Prized" certificate. Unit officers said that 5 is the minimum and it was up to the unit to recommend me for "early retirement" which they did.

 

So all in all , i ROD in about 10 years from ORD date. So now freedom till country needs me ( touch wood).

Bro. it's BOTH Medal and Watch. Together in a box. I got two sets. Both watches koyak already, medal use as keychain deco.

 

the watch is not an entitlement fyi.

 

Those who were charged before will not get the watch.

You sure? Some charged during reserve still got the whole package.

I think you may have gotten it wrong, somewhere. The last company I took,

6 men had previous charge cases on them for AWOL, still got their medal and watch.

 

Unless the Chief Clerk screwed it up, there wasn't any mention of such.
