I'd rather not re-use than run the risk of contamination. It's only $0.05 per needle. I can always cut back on some other expenses. I do the same to the fluid bag. 1 bag usually last 3 injections but if it has been opened for more than 3 days, I will discard although 1 bag with drip costs me around $7.

Remember Compannion Animal Surgery? There is this shop at the corner which sells wheelchairs, adult diapers etc. Not sure if they carry needles. I bought a cheap stethoscope from them for $18 but the quality suck cos I can't hear my XX's heartbeat. [laugh]

No i am against re using it even on the same person , as the bevel of the needle will be blunt. When poke the second time, she should feel more painful.. she just din say only.. [:(] Think i can get mostly 10% off the syringes..if u want

i'm only saying it can be re-use, (not that i'm advocating it) This is up to the individual to decide how they wanna use it. The sharpness will decrease with each use, no doubt. The end user decides.

i would advise against re-using the needles..... diabetics run an increased risk of infection and can present with subcutaneous abscesses over the injection sites . furthermore, the fine needle breaks easily with repeated usage (which explains clearly the retained needles in the arms and neck of IVDAs (intra venous drug abusers) [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

PS : got sell cheap needles in pharmacy up north ?
