Hello everyone, im just got a ep70 2 mths back. Im actually trying to find suspension for my car as its giving problems already and im quite noob at car stuff. Any kind soul would like to help me out on where i can find this old car stuff? thanks!

hi there, welcome to the club.

 

any suspension that fits the EP80 (or even EP90) will fit the EP70 too. if you are looking for sporty drive/ride, there are a few options still available - D2, BC Racing, Hotbits (cheapest). Depends on what you want. If you want plain stock suspension, you can probably get Koni or KYB. I don't think they have any more stock for model-specific shocks left, but you can try the cartridge/insert types which needs some "operation" to your current absorbers.

if left only five years, better to go with cheaper alternatives. (second hand or stock set-up)

its a good idea.. but i dont wish to spend so much on it. i think getting stock will do me good for the next 4 years down the road.. i actually wanna do a respray as well. anyone know of any good in workmanship and price? thanks.

agree, if you treat the car as basic transport, the coilovers will be too harsh for your purpose. even at $100 per year, it's not worth it.

i agreed..saber's workshop is at blk 18 sin ming industrial park a #01-49. i just spend the whole afternoon there today..lol..u should go and enquire from him.

yup..tat was me. hehe.

 

old cars are like tat. alittle cough and flu. its wear and tear, dun worry. fix it up and it will be in good condition. thank god ur engine no problem! monitor the temp and leaking problem. it shows overheating problem try not to drive it liao. call for a tow truck.

sure no problem. it will be good to hear advices from u people that have more experience in this car. im going down on monday to leave my car there to let saber do a check up. hope it wont blow my wallet... so fast and im spending so much on repairs.. sigh.

don't worry, Saber's a good guy. never overcharges and always tries to help save money here and there. owning a car has problems, no matter it's old or new. old cars you'll have more frequent, but generally cheaper, whereas newer cars, less often but more expensive. give and take.
