Autosave @ Defu

went there to service my 50K after my warranty expire, first time i see my car in full view... hehe

in terms of service, i find the service is acceptable but not that fantastic. cannot comment on the skills on the technicians cos that is my first time there but at least they tell me problem about my ride that BM never tell me [:(] ...

The above is only my personal experience..

Went to Autosaver at Defu to claim my lucky draw prize of 3M Engine restoration system.

Found that the mechanic is very professional and decided to let him do my 50k servicing.

After he has serviced my ride, he went for a test drive and noticed there's a tick-tock sound. This has been in my ride for a long time and Kah Motors can't do anything about it.

He insisted on helping me to rectify the problem, and he really did!

I will definitely go back there for my 60k servicing.

Neutral Newbie

Avoid Autosaver Kaki Bukit, had bad experience with the new mechanics, can't even service the car properly.

Ask them to check and clean the spark plugs, they just took out one, look and install it back without checking the rest, wtf.

What if 1 of the 3 plugs that he didn't check need to be change?

Next was the tyre rotation and balancing, they did rotate the tyre but only balance the 2 front tyres. When i told them they should also balance the 2 rear tyres, the mechanic replied I didn't inform him earlier as balancing 4 tyres would cost $20 not $15 (which is for 2tyre).

Never want to return to Kaki Bukit Branch, I'm going to service at Defu Lane Branch as the old mech at Kaki Bukit are there. The old mechanics were good and professional.

Hypersonic

In the end, it boils down to whichever workshop you are more comfortable with. I have tried both Riverview and Autosaver but in the end I prefer Riverview.

BM is well known for that. In fact most of the ADs charge high premiums for their after sales services.

Workshops like autosaver and riverview are fairly advanced and they have ECU scanners for major makes that are able to diagnose electronic and ECU related problems. Because of the investment made for these tools, they too charge a premium over regular uncle mechanic workshops. So for me, I usually send my ride to a simple w/s for general servicing and mechanical repairs. I only send to w/s with advanced diagnostic equipment when there is a need.

hope this helps.
