Akula Turbocharged January 14, 2009 Share January 14, 2009 Some forumers here says this shop not honest. True? Upsized my current 19inch rims and tires from them. would say overall service quite good. Though it was quite a while back then. Dunno how is it now. ↡ Advertisement

Kyojin 1st Gear January 15, 2009 Share January 15, 2009 for $80-$90 range, you can try Falken Ziex ZE-912. for its price, dry and wet performances are good. it's marketed as a "sports comfort" tyre. sidewalls are on the softer side. you'll enjoy comfort, but sacrifice on some steering response and cornering "limits". that said, it's more progressive and forgiving below it hits the limits. but pumping 2psi over (mine is at 34, from recommended 32) should do the trick (make sure it's within safe limits, of course). it's sufficient for everyday driving with occasional spirited driving. wet performance is decent, it disperses water effectively and wet handling, cornering and braking are acceptable. no signs of aquaplaning at 80km/h (i don't go beyond that on wet roads).
