Honda2 Neutral Newbie March 4, 2009 Share March 4, 2009 I wonder is it necessary for us to disclose our claim amount both (own repair cost and 3rd party repair cost) to a new insurance co. if we want to sign up with them rather that continuing with our present one. I thought if they are not able to find out on they own. I think one will be really folish for us to disclose to them. Any advice? ↡ Advertisement

Tmfwy Neutral Newbie March 5, 2009 Share March 5, 2009 So in general we need to declare both own claim + the 3rd party claim. Anyone like to share they experience. You need to declare a. any claims ongoing against you b. Any claims made by you or against you in the past, to the best of your knowledge Failure to declare, both can play sua ku ku Eg: You dun declare in the hopes of obtaining a lower premium. If insurance calls the bluff and also play along, they have the right to void the policy coz you did not declare....
