Concealing charging cable from cig socket

Sat in my friend's ride a while ago and remembered he has a charging cable (not sure if it's handphone or GPS) tapped onto the cig socket power source and concealed behind the dashboard. The other end appears in front of the front windscreen and he can use it to recharge his device.

This also free up the cig socket since it is tapped backend.

Anyone know if this is possible? and where should i go to get this done? Do I need to provide the original charging cable?

tap from the 12v supply from the back.. most ICE installer will be able to do it..

and yes, most like you will need to give them the charging cable. they can either do another head to go in or most commonly, they will cut the wire to do the connection..

bro,

One word of advice, MB electrical is veri sensitive. Take care when the workshop cuts any cable. If you not careful the Check Light will turn on and you need to bring it in the MB service centre to fix it. Good Luck
