Anyways, safety is subjective.

 

OEM pads are extremely dangerous on track.

 

So look at the charts, and decide which best suit your needs.

i am using N brake pad on my subaru 4pot... not sure if its the same as the one mentioned here as i see mine is from australia..

 

my comment on the N brake i using now is that... its sucks big time!!!!

 

if you do hard braking for more than 2 times, brake will fade. my car just wun stop at all!!

So typical, replying without reading the whole thread. It has been mentioned that it is made in Thailand. So does the website.

 

Look into the history of N brakes and its founders, and you will see why the brake pads perform like the other "more reputable" brands mentioned.

Hahaha. Ya what. Brand is not popular & well known. Sure I dont trust. Website can say anything also but not necessarily all of it is 100% true. [sly]

 

Maybe its good for track but that prob means its lousy for daily road use.

 

My fren go JB to change his Stream brake pads & they give him "original" Honda pads with box & pads printed with all the Honda logos & everything but when he use, the braking is very jerky.

 

We went to another ws in SG & the mech remove & say maybe its imitation cos the pads got pitting which is very unusual for new pads even.

 

He change another Original set in SG ws & after that all is fine.

 

So that goes to show we cant b too careful with out brake pads.

 

I always only go for OEM or original bought & fitted in SG. [thumbsup]

i was skeptical about the pink n-pad as braking/tire is the priority.. however, for normal street driving.. it's definitely more than sufficient in SG road .. however, i find that bendix ultimate suits me more than n-pad in SG road condition...

 

i do not have much knowledge about brake pad...

 

my experience is ... ultimate seem to react to braking faster/shorter than n-pad and more brake dust than n-pad....

Given the benefits of doubts, i believe n-pad can do well or better in track as bendix ultimate... i did my share of braking in PG (potenza driving lesson) and the braking distance is always shorter than what me and the instructor perceived.

 

in this scenario -> Upon u drive off from carpark and apply brake while going down slopes, bendix ultimate need to step harder (need to 'warm' up) but n-pad do not need to...

I got N brake pads for $80 front and rear. Cannot say anything now cos haven't install yet. But price is cheap though.

Yup. That is one thing I notice about bendix ultimate. It needs a bit more time to warm up especially early in the morning coming off the parking lot or car park.
