To some of the more experience brother here I need an opinion. I be getting a new City soon.

1. Is it necessary for PPS

2 I was given a choice CSII or Tuff Clad system 6. Which is better

From my personal experience, system 6 last you for a while only. You need to go back to them perodically like 6 months or so to recoat your ride.

As for CS II, I had it done and it still looks good as ever. [thumbsup]

Hi all bros,

Similar to Novicej, my friend and I are getting our ride soon. I had done a simple search/find and the following are the options.

Other than CSII, any advice on the following options?

Amzing Glaze

- Cost round $480

- gurantee for 1 year (claimed to be able to last for 12 to 18 months)

- visited the shop at Sin Ming...job done seems not bad on a car there

CSII

- have not check it out yet

- seems have a lot of support here

Diamond Brite

- Cost around $600 (additional cost applied depending on added on services)

- what is attractive is 6 yrs gurantee

- need a monthly application of their Conserver

- have yet to do a on-site check

NanoShield from Ushield

- new technology from Taiwan

- saw a video from the web site...like doing spray painting

- last 8 months to 12 months

- around $380

Really appreciate the experience bros here to share their experience.

Thank you in advance.

Had CS2 done for my new ride.. I'm quite happy with it.. although its just 3 months.. it still look just as new as the first day i got it. And all along I have been using only water to clean it.

Personally, i felt it also acts as an protective layer. Few weeks back accidently scratched my colleague's bumper when turning out of the carpark.. My car was perfectly ok.. the surface is still smooth.. but my colleague's car bumper was left with some deep scratches which I have to pay for.. Damn.. but at least i dun have to go re-spray my car

I have not tried other PPS products so I am in no position to comment on them, but I have done CSII on my car and I have not regretted it at all. I think its great for people like me who is lazy and doesn't like to wax and polish the car every week. In fact, their service is one of the best which I have encountered so far. [thumbsup]
