Flat tyre...pls advise

i have clocked 33K on my latio..been using toyo stock tyres since day 1.

 

earlier on, had a immediate flat rear tyre...removed the tyre and realised the culprit to be a huge nail...

 

kinda worried now that it cannot be patched..as such donoe what's install for me when i drive ard to look at a tyre workshop tomorrow...

 

questions:

 

1) any reputable tyre shops ard sengkang/hougang area?

 

2) if i need to change a new tyre, shd i just change one, the 2 rears or all the 4 tyres?

=> if i just change the flat, would it lead to any problem like tyres unbalancing etc?

 

3) i am only looking for an average toyo-like tyres...need not those high performance ones...roughly how much would an average-performance tyre cost and what's the brand? i dont want to be "cut robert" by the workshop due to my ignorance...

 

4) i am gng for my TCM servicing in 2 weeks time, and due to this incident earlier on, i will surely ask them to check for wheel alignment...

u need to either change 2 or 4

u can go suntec cinema shop

its reputable and safer than the jewellery shop

 

 

its the nearest and most reputable to u, anything around hg/sk is petrol station shops waiting to slaughter u and feed ur guts to the dogs

Bro, try Soh bros at AMK opposite Jewelery shop. Average toyo tyre can be gotten less den 100 bucks per piece. I think 90 or 95 ar.

actually, if i am running on one spare tyre now until i patch the tyre a few days later..what's the things to look out for?

 

cannot speed to 120km/hr?

If u worried,change all 4 tyres.

Patch from nail can be done. If not outside,inside tyre.

bro. not hear say ok ? speaking on my personal experience.i have this piece of michelin pp2 tires and had like 4 punctured holes by nails and glass .

i had them patched using those injection type which is so call worst than those that remove tires and patch from the inside.

was charged 18bucks for that 4 patches.

and immediately on that nite after patching , i went gelang patah in malaysia drove speed more than 240km/hr .which after 3 weeks i still drove 1/2 way with some guys s2000 and ctr guys to machap also speed above 200 . and that is like almost 2 mths ago and till today ,my tires still running ok.so if your tires are still not worn out , can try to patch 1 .dun need to change it just becos of a nail puncture.

yeah, my tires running 6 months still no prob, but maybe if you are upgrading, den maybe pp unwilling to pay for your tires even if condition is ok..
