HP is not the only one that is cutting pay and headcount. It is happening everywhere.

 

Personally I don't see what's so clever about cutting pay and / or headcount. Any monkey can do it. Why do we need a highly paid CEO to think of such ideas?

 

It's stupid knee jerk reaction, using harsh economic enviornment as an excuse to cut pay. In the end where would the money saved be channelled into? It's anybody's guess.

Seems to have many unhappy employees worldwide... Will not buy HP products as support and products quality may be very lousy.

To think a headhunter called me about a position in HP.... anyway I was not too keen about joining them at the first place.

 

Anyway, I rather be doing my own business than to be an employee in the long run.
