My passenger door handle scratched against the wall of the carpark and now there's an ugly scar.

Now thinking of changing door handle to wrap black. Anyone here knows where to do it. Preferably in SG.

Bro. Why don't I suggest you change the handles to the chrome version. Can get up north.

just bought a car screen shade at autobacs... wanted to do a car curtain for the rear seat passangers and gave up the idea after finding out have to use double side tape and even worse glue to make it stick. was much cheaper and after doing the shopping found out exora rear windows are considerably big compared to normal cars

Is it happening always or only when you accelerate more?

I experience in-between when I accelerate a bit more for sudden pick-up. But I believe it is coming in via the front outlets...

Otherwise no such occurances... even for long trips (KL), I never face such issues...

If I'm not wrong, my earlier CPS was also having the same issue.

Found out that my ride's right brake light also was very dim (only spotted recently when my Brother was following my Car).

Informed TTS and they have already ordered for replacement.

I noticed that this issue was there with CFE for such a long time and since my vehicle was mid-2012 release, I thought Proton have already resolved the issue.

Similarly, the front lights becomes foggy after heavy rain.... and during washing also.. need to show this also to SC.

Hi human. Sounds very much like the problem I faced a month ago. I had a real awful smell from my front vents suddenly while driving with no chill air coming from the aircon vent. Checked with tts and found to have problem with my thermostat. I also have to add when this happens there is a fog/misting from the vents together with the smell. Got the airfilter below glove compartment cleaned. Still had the problem till I got the thermostat fixed.mine is proton exora cps.

"Why Some Air-con Have Foul Smell?

Certain air conditioning units emit a foul smell when switched on. But what are the possible causes for unpleasant odours emanating from these appliances? More importantly, what steps can be taken to resolve this problem?

When air conditioners dehumidify and extract heat from the surrounding area, water is produced as a waste product. The moisture accumulates, creating a dark and damp environment that aids in the formation of mold, slime mold or mildew, all of which release a very pungent smell. Furthermore, as the external section of an air conditioning unit resides outside, foreign particles or debris are easily trapped in the ducting. When these particles rot, they may also contribute to the musky and undesirable aroma."

article i pick from the net.. looks like bacteria.. maybe anti-bacteria spray will do the trick or remove the 'condense' water.. but where is it in our car.. i dun know.. hehehe

from BMW forum,

Mouldy Odour from A/C, on all series with air conditioner (IHKR) or automatic air conditioner (IHKA)

Objective:

A mouldy smell can be detected inside the vehicle for a short time in either heating or air conditioning mode. This happens in particular immediately after the engine is started with the air conditioner or automatic air conditioner switched on, on after switching the air conditioner off during a journey.

Cause:

The cause of this objection does not lie in a fault of the air conditioning system or automatic air conditioner, nor in the vehicle. The odour is caused by environmental influences during the period of operation of the air conditioning system.

The continuous condensation of air humidity on the evaporator when the air conditioner or automatic air conditioner is operated over lengthy period creates an ideal habit for bacteria and other microorganisms.

Together with impurities brought in from the outside air, these can cause support microbes to grow on the evaporator, resulting in a mouldy smell.

As higher the temperature with sufficient humidity in the heat exchange, as faster the microorganisms can be grow.

Replacing the evaporator does not produce a lasting result, as microbes are still able to form again.

Recommendations regarding the avoidance of the mouldy odour:

- Regular cleaning of the evaporator as described in our Technical Service Bulletin.

- By regular change of the micro filter, the entry of impurities can be minimized and occurrences of the above-mentioned issues can be delayed.

- After the journey it is recommend switching the air conditioning system off briefly before the destination (5-10mins) (add. Switch the heater system on) so that the condensation in the heater box can dry by the air circulation.
