if u dont know how to use apple os, dont say the iphone dumb. iphone will simply kick their a$$ easily. jailbreak it & find the right appt, the problem u talk about is solve.

It doesnt have the enterprise solutions the way winmo, symbian, RIM, and even Palm have. Without that sort of functionality, it cannot be considered to be a smart phone. Not really a dumb phone, it is more of a phone with above average intelligence only (in contrast to the above mentioned).

Concerning the poor battery life, find me a phone with 320x240 resolution in 3.5" screen that matches iPhone's battery life. The large screen is one of the culprit that drains its batt life. But with ver 2.1 upgrade, battery life has generally been improved a lot.

I believe the touch HD matches up pretty closely overall and beats it in stand-by time.

Ok ... From the feedback from one of the bro here ..... he says that HTC Snap is good and fast.

Anybody here already using this? According to him, this will be faster than the normal WM6 Pro PDA phones.

Google is your friend [:p] try the search terms "windows mobile standard pro" and see what crops up [:)]

ok i have never own any apple products in my life.... here goes...

one day in office, i told my friend, hey lend me your ipod touch, i wanna copy all your mp3 into my winmo because i just bought a new micro SDHC.

then i realize my pda phone usb cable cannot be used on ipod touch. this same usb cable charges my pda phone, HER PDA phone, and another colleagues mp3 player.

next day, ipod cable arrived. plug ipod to PC. dang! cannot see all the mp3s via windows explorer.

ok no choice, i downloaded itunes hoping i can copy all songs out of the ipod.

dang! it doesn't work that way. only can sync songs from PC to ipod. one way traffic...

so google it, see how to do it. try 3rd party apps. It is able to display all the Mp3. funny thing is the mp3 are spread over 44 folders! each folder has X numbers of song. and the folders are just some random characters and numbers. the mp3 files are also in some random chars and numbers.

copy everything out. fire up itunes. drag all these songs into itunes. itunes then "copy" these songs to another folder with the song names.

then finally i can copy all these mp3 into my pda phone....

total spent like half a day to figure out...

back home, my wife using winmo, wants the new mp3 i got. plug both phones to PC. copy everything and paste in her phone folder.

half hr later, all songs copied.

I guess somebody will post here and tell you to get a Mac ... problem solved. [laugh] [laugh]

To be fair ..... if you ... were to plug the 2 WM phones to a Mac ... and still copy easily then it will mean something.

You haven't used an ipod very much have you [:p] you can't copy and paste from device to device regardless of OS without third party software (even then you only will know what is what via the id3 tag). Only from comp to device and only via sync programs like itunes/

So I guess that is how it was designed to be.

As long as whoever that likes it ..... then use it and live with it.
