Reasonable price

 

Dry Grip - 7

Wet Grip - 7

Noise - 8

Comfort - 8

 

So far under 300km so have to run in to see how.

its worse than wide oval

same grade as yokohama a300

 

very soft sidewall, dun try on cars heavier than 1.2 tonne and corner fast, can feel the whole sidewall giving way

Now that you mention it, I do think the side walls are on the soft side.

Will bear this in mind on taking corners. If they are as bad as yoko a300, then very bad grip.

Steering response is quite responsive, better than Bridgestone G3.

It's classeifed as Ultra High Performance category.

 

Of course, GT Radial is always associate with taxi (toyota crown) though.

Mine wore out about there, but mine was a 2nd hand set when I bought it years ago, left 70-80% I guess judging by the threads, comparing to a new set that is. Hope my current RE001 will last past 30k...

Strange.. my G3 still had lots of tread.. must be 30k on them already. I drive a 1.7 ton car to boot.

 

the TZ-100 now is still no change in performance. The more I try to listen for the noise, the more I find it just as quiet as GR80.

so far performance about the same, only noise seem not as quiet as b4.

steering is still responsive, corners are fine.

My driving style is moderate, corner tends to be faster than other people as I don't slow down into corners and tend to accelerate out. The car is 1.7 tons, and I'm moderate light on the pedal.

 

I'm satisfied its use as an everyday travel tyre.
