Esso 95 v Shell 95

I used to pump shell. No reason why, maybe because of its brand name and convenience as they have plentiful of stations everywhere.

As I was trying to save a bit of $, and esso seems to give more discount with by citibank dividend card, I changed to esso.

 

Surprisingly, I find that esso 95 is smoother and seems to give more power than shell 95. Anyone with similar experiences?

 

I shared this with one of my colleagues and she told me that she thought the same as well, but refused to believe in it.

end of the day it's whichever credit card gives you the best discount, that's the best petrol...

I prefer Caltex and most of their stations I been to have really well-mannered cashiers.

But at the end of the day, the place where you can get the most discount matters

I concur...RON95 is simple RON95.....anything 'special' is a marketing gimmick

Pepsi and Coke got different taste. too bad car got no taste buds.

frankly, whichever petrol seems to benefit your pocket or your ride, just use it. but its easier to measure wallet impact rather than engine impact.

huh? based on that statement u can guess pretty accurately... i stay near redhill,

 

haha...cuz i kena the same thing last week. then today...wanted to pump at the shell station near zouk...it was closed! then proceeded to the one at ikea...the pump attendant told me whole station pump spoil! in the end had to travel to the one ard outram....

hmmm... if im not wrong i was around zouk on last last wed night 1am+. went to pump shell. pump halfway the pump hang. then must pay by cash. luckily i happen to have $100 in my wallet cos normally i pay by shell card or nets.
