what is scan and fill actually?

dun understand what you're trying to achieve...

Means that if you got a form ..... you could scan it in as .jpg or .pdf then you may use the program to fill up the blanks according on the computer.

i'm not sure about pdf files, maybe you have to buy the premium one, so not free.

for free work around, why don't you scan as jpg and bring it into excel or word, then use text box on the fill in the blanks?

can't guarantee the print out is same size as original though

No .... think the only way is to use Acrobat and edit .pdf only.

Any other way?

Honestly just use any version of photoshop. I think I got an original photoshop elements 2 hanging around somewhere. just scan the form, open the file with the program click the text tool and draw a box over the area and type text in. after that just print.

i searched around and i found-

List of FREE downloadable image editing software

i recommend the second one- GIMP

I also did it before. But lost the file already. Just use MS Powerpoint or Word. Customise the paper size in page setup. Use ruler measure and get the X,Y coordinates of the boxes on the card, then draw accordingly on the .ppt or .doc file (using the on-screen ruler function of cos). Done.

But 1 thing, the on-screen ruler not easy to use. See until i c0ck eye. [shocked]:blink:
