ive hit more than 180km/h on nshw..but i didnt look at the speedometer after.

Just bought a 2009 SSS 1.6M

 

Awsome car! But i have a question since im a newbie with cars.

Is it my car or its normal for the 5th gear to hit 3k+(RPM) while driving at abt 90-110kph?

 

I need those experienced help on this!

Hi, its due to the gear ratio of SSS tats y rpm is very high cruising, good thing is the power to pull is still there at moderate high speed. Was driving a SSS for a few years and the noise is really buay tahan at times somemore on sunline exhaust. Finally some peace now as driving a 6sp v6 crusing at only 2k rpm at 100km/hr

There are several legal exhaust options for the ZC31, go and "audition" with existing SSS owners which drone at highway speeds and which do not.
