Niteblu Neutral Newbie August 20, 2009 Share August 20, 2009 (edited) Always felt that Audi Interiors were overrated. Somehow Car reviewers are often compelled to parrot each other on how great the quality supposedly is. Was in the PA showroom recently, still pretty plasticky. And messy, with dials/buttons all over. Even worse than it's cheaper VW bretheren. My all time favourite interior is the BMW E46 range. Simple, driver focused & classy. Soft touch plastics all the way into the footwell But even the current generation BMWs, like the E90 are pretty plain. Cheaper plastics, soft touch plastics only on the top half/partial door handles. Axela72 5th Gear August 20, 2009 Share August 20, 2009 Well, I like the new Audi A4 interior..looks kinda like a cockpit! No wonder I find the console look similar as something with many button and non attractive. That is similar as a plane/helicopter cockpit. Why I never think of that......... Azrielsc 1st Gear August 20, 2009 Share August 20, 2009 Mr Niteblu... I still prefer the Audi's interior, especially the seats. And more buttons to press! Definitely more gadgety than the bimmer!
Viceroymenthol 6th Gear August 20, 2009 Share August 20, 2009 Hi bros i've heard about many commenting about how awesome the audi interior is? What do you guys think? http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Aud...B8_interior.JPG i think its quite messy and quite cheap looking with the plasticky buttons like Lexus interior ); but I LOVE THE A4 B8 EXTERIOR. the steering wheel in this photo is 4 spoke? mine came with the 3 spoke... stock... and has the 2 thick bulge grip at 10 and 2 o clock. Viceroymenthol 6th Gear August 20, 2009 Share August 20, 2009 i can understand the zen-like charm of BMW cockpits but the E46 320 did look a lot plainer than the M3 pictures you posted below i agree that the plastics used in E46 were a lot more tactile and felt more solid. go to the sgcarmart website and see the interior pics of the used E46 318/320 there.
