need some advice here especially after the famous cheating case of Brookes...

my bro-in-law is now deciding on the below 2 part time degree course

Kaplan (Bsc in finance - National University of Ireland)

UniSIM (some bladdy course, forgot liao)

the problem here is that Kaplan offers express route of degree of only 1.5 yrs with 12 modules while UniSIM requires 3 years with 30 modules...

The course fee is somewhere similiar and both of part time.

Just wondering.. which one will be better for him? Kind of paranoid that Kaplan will turn out to be the second Brookes..

like some bro who mentioned in the Brookes fake degree thread, the kaplan looks fishy, too good to be true for a part time degree course that takes only 1.5 yrs while our local grads are taking 3 yrs for full time at NUS/NTU/SMU.....

Thanks

kaplan is established so no worries.

i will go for kaplan coz i dun see a need to go thru 3 yrs....afterall, if u r not from world class local unis...ur chances of landing a job is same for all other uni degree holders.
