Sgnick 1st Gear September 9, 2009 Share September 9, 2009 (edited) How much is Freed 8GL? Btw I bought Sienta G for $62.5K (b4 OPC discount $17K) when COE is at $11.5K, and I don't think I got the cheapest deal then. Sienta XLimited should be cheaper than G. Earlier this year XLimited were selling for $53K? Edited September 9, 2009 by Sgnick ↡ Advertisement
Iisterry 3rd Gear September 9, 2009 Share September 9, 2009 Do Freed have the features of the Sienta G? I don't know because I don't know what are the different types of Freed. I share some of what I know. I think the Sienta models have already been covered. PI Freeds G model - no power door, direction indicators on body, manual aircon GL model - left powered door, side indicators on mirror, digital aircon, auto fold mirrors 7 seater - 2nd row captain's seat, 14 inch stock rims 8 seater - 2nd row collapsable forward with a lever, 15 inch stock rims KM Freed Basic model - not sure, should be comparable to PI's G model. EX model - dual power door, side indicators on mirror, digital aircon, auto fold mirrors, short antenna instead of PI's manual variant, some coloring differences, dashboard has two tones instead of PI's single tone, AT transmission instead of CVT, blue dashboard lights instead of orange. Made in Indo. The Sienta Club can be found at http://forums.cjb.net/sgsienta.html The Freed Club can be found at http://www.freedclub.org
Aquace21 Neutral Newbie September 9, 2009 Author Share September 9, 2009 Lowest was $70k for the 8GL from the few PIs i enquired. Wow, your Sienta price is not bad.
Linusss 2nd Gear September 9, 2009 Share September 9, 2009 I got my Sienta X Limited less than 3 weeks ago. Just went for 1K servicing today. Car is great so far. Paid $65K for it. Got it from ACE Automobile. Very pleased with this PI if you are looking for a reliable and honest one that delivers as promised. From booking to actual delivery took about 10 days! Insurance with AIG is about $950.

CH_CO 6th Gear September 13, 2009 Share September 13, 2009 My neighbour owns a 7 seater version JDM , I've borrowed it for a test drive recently. Pretty comfortable drive and power should be good enough for a small family of 5 or 6 traveling in Singapore. Price he bought was good , at 62k i believe it is one of the better buys. Some upgrades that i liked Roof LCD , Reverse Camera and GPS makes Freed an enjoyable drive.

Lycanthrope 4th Gear September 14, 2009 Share September 14, 2009 how is the power for the T7 ?? is it good ? spontaneous .... etc ? Here is my view. Tried T7 - 3rd row is for kid only. Proton - Got size but under power most likely FC will suffer. APV - too heavy very bad FC. Freed is quite good but too expensive VS. Sienta. When I bought my Sienta, I was considering FREED but the price in 10K different. So far happy with my decision on Sienta which give me around 16 to 17 km/l plus I can carry 5 adult + 3 kids all the way up to Genting and Fraser Hill without any problem. Aquace21 Neutral Newbie September 14, 2009 Author Share September 14, 2009 (edited) Noah is a little over the budget.. unfortunately. Have not tried the Isis yet but some figures I found seem to show that the Isis has larger and more spacious interior compared to Freed, Sienta, Wish, Stream, etc. Anyone who has done a close comparison between these models can verify? Isis Freed Sienta Stream Mazda5 Edited September 14, 2009 by Aquace21
Linusss 2nd Gear September 14, 2009 Share September 14, 2009 Isis is definitely bigger than Sienta or Freed. The price is around $80K plus, which means it'll be around $15K more ex than Sienta and around $10K more than Freed. If your budget allows, Isis looks like a great MPV to get. Sktan10 5th Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 Budget & compact MPV Any considerations ........ KIA caren elite...... 2.0 CVVT with sport mode........70k Carens roadtax is more expensive than Freed & senta. $1214 vs $676 per yr. FC at 9.5 to 10km/l only.Third row leg-room is good but seat height loss out to senta/freed.I m 1.82m,85kg still able to fit in so i think below my height should not be a problem. The car width is broader as 1820mm whereas freed/senta is 1595mm so shoulder room is better.Second row not problem fit in 4 persons. Car is stable even at 180km/hr. Friendstar Supercharged September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 kia carens is a good buy if u think budget and cheap. The road tax is easily offset by the low selling price. It has sufficient power, outstanding comfort and refinement however, fc can be better. If ur mileage is low can consider
