Airwolf Neutral Newbie October 2, 2009 Share October 2, 2009 APPLICATION BY OWNWERS OF SINGAPORE VEHCLES BEARING G PLATES TO BE LICENCED AS COMMERCIAL VEHICLE IN MALAYSIA 1. Approvals are solely by the Johor Road Transport Department Director. 2. The requirements are as follows: a. The rigistered owner, either a company or an individual, must have a company registered in Malaysia (in the case of company, one of the directors must be a director in both of the companies in Singapore and in Malaysia) b. Applications must be in writing addressed to the State of Johor Road Transport Department and should be sent by hand to the Road Tax Division oat the Johor RTD in Taman Daya, Lebuh raya Pasir Gudang, Johor Baru c. The following documents must be forwarded: i. An official application letter by the registered owner ii. A Photostat copy of Business Registration with the ROC of Singapore and in alaysia if the owner is a company ( if the owner is an individual, BR of company registered in Malaysia) iii. A Photostat copy of the Log Book of vehicle or a letter from LTA. iv. A Photostat copy of the insurance for the vehicle to be licensed v. A photostat copy of an Identification Card or passport of the vehicle owner ( if it is a company, passport of the Director who is director of both companies in Malaysia and in Singapore) vi.
