Beregond Supersonic December 7, 2009 Share December 7, 2009 why no bridgestone ? f1 tire cant be wrong. bridgestone 15' , for latio should be my01 or ar10 , both is non japan , thailand i think, and the price is not really cheap. ar10 still not bad, my01 not much review on it, hope some good folk on my01 can give some review. f1 i assume u are talking about goodyear eagle F1? that is a very noise tyre, i wont reccomd it for nissan latio -.-. (nothing much to complain about its performance and price through LOL ) if want to take non japan tyre, michlin pp2 thai, or bridgestone ar10 thai , should be good choice. make in japan but still low price, goodyear ls2000, even higher end japan ?? toyo teoplus . Beregond Supersonic December 8, 2009 Share December 8, 2009 Bro: how's the noise level for Michelin PP2? pai sei, not much experience wth michelin tyres, but i guess from their 'brand' even from thailand quality should be quite good. i had only 1 experience with michlin tyres, last time they got 1 model energy or something, suppose to be very lasting, indeed, i check the side wall, the THREADWEAR was 400+ , wow, lol, u very very seldom came across tyres with 400 + thread wear, the tyres is indeed lasting , but the side effect is the rubber is extreme hard , i cannot stand the noise even b4 i could use 50 % of the thread, that is my 1 and only experience with michlin . pp2 i also want to know, any kind folk use pps 15' thai, kindly give some review, cheers. Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 9, 2009 Share December 9, 2009 what is the difference if i use a different size tyre like instead of 215 i use 225? If possible I would suggest 225/45R18 as the circumference difference is 1.4% vs. 2.2% for the 225/40R18. Think this would be helpful so you understand what changing one aspect of the size does http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/read...e-sidewall.html

Beregond Supersonic December 9, 2009 Share December 9, 2009 where can i check for the rim size? i am having the lancer ex gt stock rims. u look from outside , if u cannot see any wording like '15 x 6.5' etc etc or 16 x ;;; , or 17 x;;; if u can see any thing, the number at the back is the width, the number in front '15', 16 , 17 is the rim size. if u cannot see and u really really want to know the rim size , the only thing left to do is take out the whole tyre and see , it should be engrave at the back . plus the offset also .( unless u can call the carsales man see if they know? lol)

( some tyres 225 if u measure its same as another model 215) like toyo drb, u stack up 4pcs 225. same height as falken 215 -.- . some time i also wonder how those engineers calcuate the width . ↡ Advertisement
