Yuan 6th Gear October 31, 2009 Share October 31, 2009 I did call up my AD, they say must change at least 2 tyres to balance as they dun hav stock for my existing tyre model. Yes I fear ganna psycho to change all tyres You can change 2 tyres first instead of changing all 4.

Yoongf 4th Gear October 31, 2009 Share October 31, 2009 This logic of this tread abit unusual. TS got tyre problem.. refer back to AD?? Normally go tyre shop get cheaper and faster service. TS worry about budget for changing tyres, but now consider upgrade to 17 inch? Upgrade to 17" means change whole set of rims, not to mention 17 inch tyres costs a lot more than regular tyres. If the other 3 tyres are still relatively new, then change 1 tyre (not lesser grade) is not a big deal. Typical Sg driving condition does not push the limits of tyre performance. Do not use 2nd hand tyres unless is very new. The wear pattern on the original car may be different, and the tyre may not be as round, and when put in your car, can feel different. JT_Woodlands Neutral Newbie November 8, 2009 Share November 8, 2009 Do not use 2nd hand tyres unless is very new. The wear pattern on the original car may be different, and the tyre may not be as round, and when put in your car, can feel different. My friend does sales job but cannot claim tyres, only can claim petrol. So he always buys 2nd hand tyres, $$ from own pocket. Asked him got problem? He said "No have. So far so good. Just go to reliable tyre shop & buy. Cheap & good some more, 'cos sometimes, other drivers very rich - kena nail only, say die die must change new tyres, dun 1 to patch,.." Mowaxchua 1st Gear November 8, 2009 Share November 8, 2009 Where u kanna? I also kanna rock or hard object on my tyre last thurday. I Went to tyre shop and saw side wall torn so wanted to change back same brand but was quoted $205 for Yokohama S-Drive per tyre. Wanted to change 2 tyres but it will cost $410. So change to another brand. Goodyear LS2000. Damaged was $600 for 4 tyres and since my mileage are 35,000 km so might as well change 4 tyres. ↡ Advertisement
