Wat spark plug are you using?

Anyone using or have any idea about Denso Iridium Power IK27 5312 plug

Tried out my friend FD2 at NS highway recently, engine seem to be responsive as to compare with my ride with stock plug.

I'm also using the IK20L on the K20 engine.

So far i've tried the NGK and also the Brisk Premium...but ultimately went back to the Denso Iridiums....

The NGKs came stock so can't really comment but they didn't feel that smooth so i changed to IK20L...then backside itchy went to change to the Bris Premium because of all the hype and that Lambos use it la....got 4 tips la etc...they were rather expensive also....

 

But I used the stock one till 43K already, still ok leh. I'm now a "stock is still the best" person [laugh]. Does changing to a more expensive plugs give you extra horsepower and torque? Probably little or zero. What you get is likely to be that temporary "feel good" effect [:p] .

Wha OWS not cheap right... how much you spent on those?

 

Back to topic, I only heard that plugs use the correct heat range and that's it. It is not something you really opt to take a higher or lower heat range to get better performance out of it. If that's the case then manufacturers just make 1 type can liao, universal best heat range for all. Hahaha... For spark plugs I believe don't meddle, just stick to what the manual says.

 

Yah man, tell me about it, spent maybe more than 3x the usual (compared to Denso) for those OWS things.

Just changed my plugs from Brisk LGS to this brand E3..

 

I won't go on Brisk again. Ttrue enough after 30k black like charcoal.

 

Anyone on E3? it feels good now but checked overseas forums and sites seem to have mixed reviews.

After my current iridum plugs run out, I will go back to stock.

 

I feel not much difference. Frequent checking and changing of plugs go better with me.

haha wont 1 la, it depent on your car perfomrance also la, but i dontknow why my spark plug cost $35 for 1 piece

I only buy value for money copper electrode spark plugs

For me, I am using NGK and Denso. Try all kinds of expensive plugs and found them a waste of money. Sure only expensive ones like the Brisk Premium LGS do give slightly more power. But its so little and it doens't last long, thus no point wasting the $$$.

I'm on E3, initially felt abit of difference, but after awhile, it feels the same as bosch. So next plug change would be back to bosch.
