Movie - Sneak Preview vs Actual Show

Anyone can confirm if 'Sneak Preview' is exactly the same as the actual opening show for any newly launch movie ?

My daughter's friend claims there are some differences i.e additional snippets, longer duration, etc.

sneak review is just a session before the official launch of the movie.

no diff. but I noticed less commercials for sneak preview screenings, sometimes none at all.

sneak preview mostly 1 week before actualy launch date.. on weekends mostly, some sneak previews seats are "reserved" for the press to give their "popcorns" and comments on the movie yet to be released.
