This is future Kia K5, known as Optima in US or Magentis in Europe. It is Cadenza's smaller "brother" that will come to the market next year. At least that's what I read at Autoblog today.

i rather buy a camry, what for pay a korean for the price of jap?

to each his own.

But seriously, I would rather get this Kia over a camry which is plain boring with ah pek design.

This Kia looks luxurious & more stylish.

If it's niche, better still. I won't want my car to look too common.

Only question is, how would kia price this?

The ad is so intoxicating..

But in 1996, I remembered playing a DOS racing game with this car.

hello!! [wave]

the Kia K7 is actually based on the Hyundai Genesis sedan...so at 4965mm long, it's actually a class up from the Camry...

the direct competitor to the Camry would be the K5, which will be the Magentis replacement...

i suppose C&C will bring in the same 2.4L MPI version 180bhp 6A/T at around Kia Sorento prices...

and since the Kia Sorento 3.5SX AWD is just $5,000 more than the 2.4SX FWD now,

i suppose C&C will also do the same for their Cadenza K7 sedan??

really looking forward to the specs C&C brings in...

from the pictures in Korea, the 2.4L version is really very basic spec...only the 3.5V6 290bhp gets the full specs...

cheers.

K7 is FF while Genesis is FR, how would you say that K7 based on Genesis? based on Genesis tyre?

K7 is set to replace Kia Amanti/Opirus, which is the same class as Azera. The length of car doesn't justify it because Accord also more than 4.9meter.

K7 strictly left-hand drive... not coming to Sg :(

Only K5, which will replace Magentis.

The MarkX looks like a step backward of the previous model..

K7...

I like it...

Pretty cool...

Kia is well known for "value for money"

if this come...

Camry, i45, Accord etc. will be have a pretty good competitor in that segment.

KIA is really seriously making it big...

The few company that is gaining market share while everyone else are losing...

Impressive work by KIA...

Definately on my next wanted list.

K7 is a class higher than Camry/Accord... The K5 is the real replacement for Magentis...

This is the real competitor for Accord and Camry
