Car looks good but the LED make the car look like cry / sad face

Maybe Big cars need to look small, just like the new 7 series, the back look much more smaller than the old one, sportier.

Sometimes picture cannot tell, imagine a big car like A8, head lamp like that if fine. However of say an A3 use all the curves, then it will look really tiny.

that's how BMW do it too, car is same size as A6 or E class, but look sportier, they play with curves and lines.

fact of the matter is it just won't sell, just like the current A8...people can't even be bothered with Audi...

S-Class is the default choice...seat inside the car and rich people just know that's the car for them...

7-series are for young executives...but is just too complicated to operate the functions and technologies of the car...

two quick questions

has lexus (ls 460 and LS600h) make an impression with the rich here

audi 8 is it because of the previous service standard that lead to their current situation

thanks

if you can afford to buy this car, you probably wouldnt mind its styling by then.

ppl who can easily afford to buy this car, will opt for s-class or 7 series instead.

IMO, lexus does not make enough impression to associate with the rich ppl.

audi A8, A6 is definitely not a choice for towkays here. The strongest sales is A4, which is competing with C-class and 3-series. which, I think, not in different market segment. Definitely not competing at the "rich" ppl segment. For this segment, it still a long way to go to set its mark.

IMO, not hard to design another Audi car.

You can call it A-whatever, it is quite simple.

Take any of the current Audi, do a bit of changes, especially change the headlight LED, instead of curve, make it straight, if it is already straight, then make the tail curve, if tail already curved then make it a tick .. there, u have an A8, brand new.

The rest of the car is also easy, just stretch it, it's simple then find the best cow skin and lay it in, people will say you have the best interior in the world, no need to be innovative lah, just put all the regular parts, chrome it and the make sure the tolerance is small. Done, another one of the Audi with corporate look. BORING.

Obviously you don't understand a single bit about the dynamics and complexity in designing a car at all....any car...

oh please. dont be foolish.

many other car makes also uses the same template what.

i feel that there's nothing wrong with it.

alfa romeo also what.

beemer even worse. but i really like beemer.

the looks of the 6series

merc also la. but at least they got different headlights for different class.

it's easy to design a car, but to build it is another story...

it's fortunate that the 2010 A8 has a full leather interior...any LWB photos yet??

that said, the range of engines is rather limited...the 4.2FSI 372bhp, 4.2TDI 350bhp and 3.0TDI 250bhp...seems like the old engine...

i particularly like the gear stick shift...unique!!

however, it is really important for the A8L to come with 5-seats option, unlike the current version...which can only take 4...not really practical...
