But why do they continue living in such squalor?? Being poor doesn't mean you should let your home degenerate to such an extent. Didn't watch the show so can't understand why they don't clean up after themselves...

Father passed away. Mother is senile and domineering. Elder brother is intellectually challenged. Youngest brother has to keep the family going with $1100 per month. Somemore the mum keep calling his HP incessantly at work. I think the guy just gave up.

 

I noticed CS was quite frustrated when describing the mum. Maybe there was some squabble the show censored?

 

The number of [gorgeous] in this episode not bad.

actually i dont think this family dont really worth the help.

 

given that the elder bro's mum fell down therefore cant clean up the house. BUT,

 

i clean up the whole house myself. executive flat that has 5rooms.

i only clean up on weekends with 4-6hours. condition not perfect but least acceptable.

Even the mum lost the ability to clean up but the very least the guy can ya?

how difficult it is to remove a 1995 calender from the wall?

every little action will result in huge change. thats what i think. :)

from what i analyse this episode.

 

this house should be no one living in it for a long time already

 

i dont think the family lived in this house.

 

1. wall calender is 1996

2. toilet bowls are dried up

3. pails in toilet are dried til white and crack

4. basin's algae is brown and dried, (not green)

 

many signs this house is probably abandoned for many many years. (not even used)

 

now the family either wants to move back, or intends to sell the house at this hot market, but lazy/stingy to clean/reno the house, so call the tv channel.

sianz..my starhub HD recorder sometimes dont record shows, got to delete recording schedule and record again...wtf.

Old liao brains cant function as good as it is..I saw Ah soon( christopher) buy industrial alcohol pour on the floor and got white smoke ! power sia !

 

I can only say ... last toilet .. wash till solid, solid!! :wub:

 

But I pity the guy ... He knows very well that his mother is a control freak over her 2 sons and yet he chose to defend her constant calling as just 'bored'.

Anyone with eyes can see, her mother is very, very insecure and afraid he will walk out of the family.

Just hope that he can find a good woman. Good pple deserves good deed.

 

 

And yes .... someone spot light very big, cant hlep but keep 'bio-ing', hohohoho

Plus point, got a 21 yo syt helper .. .yummy

somehow, I felt exactly the same as you do.

in matter of times, the spick-&-span now will 'transform' back to its original state . . . . a calender of 2010 will remain on the wall till its sold.

i was quite pissed when the son mentioned that he helped to clean during his weekends ---- b-------ts!

i could understand how demoralised he must be, but that does not render his lies, laziness & total 'bochap'!!!

he shud not get a girl fren or partner for himself till he really wakes up!!!

he may not be rich but he's definitely a poor soul for his humanity.

 

i've seen a paralysed kid whom wanna lighten his mom's workload from her tiring days' of work - - - he basically crawled onto the floor from his wheelchair, scrubbed every inch of his floor in the flat, day by day till his mom birthday - as her birthday gift.

 

so what have that able bodied young son been doing . . . . ???

well, the toilets can be explained by his mom's mentality - but not the whole flat/kitchen.

you see how bochap he was when dealt with those toy cars left for him by his late-father.......

why make him cleaned them in front of the camera and show-off in the new shelves............. & left to collect dust for the next few years?

I will never forget the previous 2 episode about the wheelchaired boy with his undying love from his mom - & that's worth the respect!!!!

wow today's esp really tok kong! so far this is the dirtiest house :o really feel bad for that guy. think he is under a lot of stress from all the calls from his mum [:(]

 

Cant imagine how high is the HP bill? Keep calling and calling.. :wacko:

last week's episode wasn't what...it was filmed in TP...

 

Woodlands have the cheapest housing flat, so you can say most of the poorest live here...

 

i stay woodlands too...but one of my neighbour driving the new BMW 750Li and still keeping his BMW 523i...

 

round my house also have a Hummer H3...BMW X5, 630i...

 

you call them poor??

Yeah, very astute analysis of the situation! When neccessary, I'll clean up my home myself too. Dusting, clean glass table & mirrors, then vacuum and mop whole floor. 2 to 3 hours tops, tiring but hey, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do -_-

if ppl dun change inside, then no matter how u help them and clean the house, the house will degenerate back to old its diliapidated state.
