Butcher_hoe Neutral Newbie January 22, 2010 Share January 22, 2010 Hi Guys...like to hear your feedbacks.. My current battery(45amp) is past 2 years old and I'm planning to have a change of battery that feed (60-70amp). I am planning to install an amp and a underseat subwoofer, with these 2 gadgets installed, I'm thinking that I will need higher amp to be supplied. My query is, what is the recommended battery capacity for EP70. I'm worried that if I change to a new battery that supplies higher amp, would my alternator be able to charge the battery proper? ↡ Advertisement
Starletgt Neutral Newbie January 28, 2010 Share January 28, 2010 You can change to a bigger amp battery should not be a problem but make sure your alternator can provide the charging to support the battery if not it will be back to zero.

Hmm, I've changed to a 68 amp aurora maintenance free battery...so far so good, car starts well and everything else works fine. Will be installing my amp and subwoofer this sunday. Btw, I've learnt how to adjust engine idling liao..heh, can do this on my own now, don't have to visit the workshops to resolve the idling speed problem
