Windchoco 1st Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 Taxi is money earner. Faster means can do more trips per day and earn more $$. ... Just a joke but I think some silly taxi driers think this way.... No, don't think its a joke. Once change car they do earn more. But, the car also seem to break down more. Windchoco 1st Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 (edited) really? where got statistic to show? Based on the number of times my dad kiao ka at home in the last 5 years lor. Last time crown he kiao ka less. Somemore sampling is not only 1 owner, is multiple owners (he is just relief for the owners). He has driven in total 3 different Sonatas and 2 different crowns. So you can't say he suay tio lemon or what. Just last week, gearbox broke, when shift to D, doesn't move forward anymore. So he went home early. to be fair we are comparing AT sonata vs MT crown. MT of cos won't break down as often. TC vs NA. So, its very obvious which car is more vulnerable. Edited December 23, 2010 by Windchoco
Proton_neutron 1st Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 True enough the Toyota Crown is a real reliable workhorse. Next year coming in Renault Latitude and Chevrolet Epica. Wonder how they'll fare in reliability.

Proton_neutron 1st Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 (edited) The exterior design of the i45 nice lor. And the coming new avante the design also looks like i45. nope, with regards to the front design, The Avante will look like the ix35 Tucson rather than the i45 Sedan. Same case with the Accent/ Verna. The upcoming Azera looks like a combo between the Kia K7 and Toyota Camry (front design). Seems like many cars these days are copying the front design of the Camry. Opel Insignia, VW Passat included. Edited December 23, 2010 by Proton_neutron

Proton_neutron 1st Gear July 21, 2011 Share July 21, 2011 So fast i45 got facelift?! Actually, the i45 has been in the market since late 2009, launched back in Korea. By the time it made its way to Singapore, and started deliveries, it's already mid 2010 already. The facelifted model gets new LED tail-lights, better interior finishes, new air-con controls, options for ventilative front seats, and a new 2.0Turbo 274bhp engine as option, on top of the standard 2.0MPI 164bhp. ↡ Advertisement
