Hi all,

I'll be popping by to Amsterdam for a short holiday (3-4 days 2-3 nights) in March.

As its the first time I am there, are there any recommendation of places to go to or to see there?

TIA!

Turbocharged

Go stroll stroll red light district - a lot of quantity but very few quality

I don't know walk here and there and bumped into the legalised herion injection area. Even got an addict offering me a needle. [:p]

The Heineken Brewery has damn good beer. Way better than the locally canned ones.

Got sex museum also. A bit boring though.

But if you have time, there are some villages/towns on the outskirts. Very nice. Cannot remember the names though. Many years already.

I stop-over at Amsterdam more than 10yrs ago.

Can try checking with hotel for those 1/2 day or 1 day tour that bring you to various places : cheese making factory, wooden clogs factory, traditional windmills, crockery factory, tulip garden [if in season], etc.
