that's why we need high coe and more erp.

Let's be contented that we are still allowed to use the roads everyday (if you drive a normal car).

 

I am surprised that with such high population density and car ratio, the government has not switched to alternate days use of cars just like Beijing did for the pre-Olympic period.

 

I believe the reason for not doing so is that our public transport infrastructure is not good enough or does not have the capacity to take on more load than what the system is experiencing at the moment.

 

I suspect that the population and Immigration planners (Wong KS) and the LTA (Raymond Lim) aren't talking to each other.

I read and I agreed with your statement especially when COE is high, buying luxury cars will be a wiser choice.

 

But a side note, not everyone can simply conclude the next ride to that level.

So, end of the day, the low-to-middle class will have to either pay more or suck thumb.

 

End of the day, it is still the big boys and big girls' game in SG automotive situation.

Sad but true.
