SLing 1st Gear April 14, 2010 Share April 14, 2010 Please read the sales agreement carefully, is there any term & condition that warrent a penaties if customers cancel the deal b4 the 6 bids? it there is better let them run the natural cause. The penalty clause is in the COE bidding form at the bottom. If they return you the deposit, please clarify that there is no penalty. BE CAREFUL. Maybe you could bring some witnesses along or something.

Beemer77 Neutral Newbie April 14, 2010 Share April 14, 2010 Die & Die cut from salesman to deliver cars to customers. http://www.asiaone.com/print/Motoring/Owne...405-208575.html no wonder BM cannot deliver and all their salesman are here attacking the buyers. (so that BM doesn't give in and end up cutting their comm)
LSPL Neutral Newbie April 14, 2010 Share April 14, 2010 Larkspur/ Andrew/ Beemer77, Good luck to U all for the coming bids. The bid put in for my Order was $22k....U can monitor how much BM put in for you. But, with the $11k topup taken up like hotcakes, non-guaranteed Orders will be given LAST priority. I also want to thank those who started the threads on the whole fiasco to create the awareness on this whole thingy. To be very frank, I am really very disappointed with the fact that I know the SE personally and he is a Senior SE somemore. He also did not even advise us on taking up the Guaranteed package when we signed up for a car with him. So, I guess it is also his "strong belief" that BM will SURE deliver all cars' orders. I do not blame the SEs actually as I am also in the Sales line. But, what I do not agree with is the way the BM mgt handled this whole chapter of saga. One very valuable lesson learnt from this whole chapter - Do your homework and do not rely on hearsay or "99% guaranteed" kind of advise. For now, we will take extra good care of my current drive and monitor the COE movement before deciding on the next car to go for.......definitely not another Toyota from BM tho...... Andrewlai Neutral Newbie April 14, 2010 Author Share April 14, 2010 Actually the way I would react is really based on public reaction....if no one makes any noise I will simply try to maximise profits in whatever way possible....However if 20 or so people come in and KPKB then I have to change my tactic...if people start writing to papers to complain...I will also have to modify my behaviour...what I will do DEPENDS ON HOW MY CUSTOMERS react.... Please don't get angry if you do not agree...you asked the question....I am answering....you want my HONEST answer right?
