Speedsun Clutched May 22, 2010 Author Share May 22, 2010 (edited) Is it possible that this gentleman really not aware that his driving had offended you, that why he acted nothing. Did you signal to him [wave, horn, etc...] and request him to apologize ? The last part of my video you should be able to hear I was horning him. If he still didn't know he made the mistake, he should off-the-road immediately before he is going to kill someone/family on the road and claims that he doesn't know. Don't you think so? Opel17 6th Gear May 23, 2010 Share May 23, 2010 The last part of my video you should be able to hear I was horning him. If he still didn't know he made the mistake, he should off-the-road immediately before he is going to kill someone/family on the road and claims that he doesn't know. Don't you think so? Thanks for the clarification. I realized my sound volume at set to mute. My sincere apologies. Anyway replay the video twice. It appear that your lane had split into 2 lanes, and re-merge after a short distance further up. So when the lane split, the gentleman took the left branch, and you took the right branch. Approaching the re-merge, this gentleman inevitably have to go back to the original lane, and end up cutting in abruptly infront of your vehicle. I am not trying to defend the actions of this gentleman, but sometime the road infrastructure was not well laid out, like in this incident. Why split and re-merge lanes, becos it create a potential danger-spot at the re-merge point. Together we roadusers just have to live with this. Sony 1st Gear May 23, 2010 Share May 23, 2010 Actually, I had given him chance to apologise, he did not do so. I understand every driver does make mistake on the road too, so do I. I dare to apologise to the other party when I was in the wrong. In actual fact, I stopped side-by-side with him at the next traffic light (approx < 200m away) but he acted nothing had happened when I looked at him. His family never taught him manners how to be gentleman, I will let TP do the job. maybe he wave sorry to you the moment you horn? but it's raining and reflective, so you can't see? anyway, it was split lane and turning, so people not familar tend to make such mistake.. defensive driving, my friend.. Vextan 1st Gear May 23, 2010 Share May 23, 2010 (edited) the kayu driver was indeed kayu for not checking blind spot while changing lane , and so nearly cause an accident to occur, but who never made stupid mistakes ? just because ts has a camera in his car doesnt mean he should play police and report every mistake to traffic police. why nowadays so many people behaving in a self rightousness way ? if ts made a mistake somewhere sometime and someone happens to catch it on video, how will ts feel if he is to be reported to traffic police as well ? it was after all not a deliberate carelessness. Kopites Supersonic May 23, 2010 Share May 23, 2010 I am not taking side. IMHO already so stress driving on sillypore roads and now we have to factor in pple like TS with their vedio cam when behind our wheels !

Speedsun Clutched May 23, 2010 Author Share May 23, 2010 As I already mentioned, if he had apologised, this video would not even appear here. I have much better things to do than escalate to TP, no money given to do this extra job. Everyday I have seen many illegal actions on the roads, if I am going to report, every trip I would have plenty to show TP.

IMHO already so stress driving on sillypore roads and now we have to factor in pple like TS with their vedio cam when behind our wheels ! This is because some drivers are not honest after accidents, therefore video cam is necessary as proof. If every driver is a gentleman telling the truth, video cam is not necessary. You have to blame those not honest drivers.
Sony 1st Gear May 23, 2010 Share May 23, 2010 Definitely, he did not as captured clearly by my cam. eh, your video show the rear as reflective, so how to tell? Anyway TP must be very busy nowadays
Speedsun Clutched May 23, 2010 Author Share May 23, 2010 I fully agreed to your point that some road infrastructure could be bad causing wrong judgement. But if in the wrong, just apologise, it will not cause anything, at least let the other party knows that not intentional.
Speedsun Clutched May 23, 2010 Author Share May 23, 2010 No, once cross the junction, the video captured the inside of his car. I still have the full video, so there is no doubt about it.

But if in the wrong, just apologise, it will not cause anything, at least let the other party knows that not intentional. aiyo this kind of thing happens everyday on the road. and besides that , maybe the driver didnt even know that indeed he cut into your lane last min. maybe he didnt see you coming up from your lane?maybe his judgement wasn't good enough or maybe you were indeed hogging the lane? honest mistake la brudder. so how to apologize in this sense if maybe he himself was not aware of the entire situation? aiya since both parties are still healthy and no accident occurred , then just be GRACEFUL enough to FORGIVE and FORGET. the keything is nothing about who is right and who is wrong. but rather about , live and let live. on a side note , ts also cant expect everyone to wave a sorry or give an apologetic gesture. some pple does it , some pple don't.simple as that. why habour such injustice within ourselves when the opposite party failed to give that wave ? whenever i was infront of any vehicles parking , i would have the habit to dim or off my lights so it would not be glaring to the driver doing the parking at that time. some would give me a smile and wave. some wouldnt. its a habit within ourselves and not something we demand it to be done. on the road many times i would slow down and let cars over take me and move into my lane especially when we are exiting from an expressway. again some wave some don't. you might think its a whole different issue , but then again if you look at it in another angle , its the same basically. it teaches us NOT to be so PETTY . Speedsun Clutched May 23, 2010 Author Share May 23, 2010 This is not petty issue. A car can be a killing machine, it can be any people get killed if not handle properly. If only fatal mishap happens then KPKB, it is already too late.

Speedsun Clutched May 23, 2010 Author Share May 23, 2010 By waving a sorry, the driver ackowledges his/her has made a mistake, it serves as a reminder to be careful. By not doing that, it could be he/she really didn't know at all, the next time could be a fatal one. Do you want that to happen?
