Along expressways there are signs saying "Camera". E.g Near sengkang or elias exit along tpe. Does that mean it is speed camera or just normal camera for monitoring roads?

I meant " Camera Zone" the sign looks like a expressway. what is it for?

Got one taxi driver tell me that means that spot they always have tp standing somewhere with a camera looking for speeding motorists.

Calm & not being too paranoid abt it? No speeding no fear. In most xpway, you can see all this ard Singapore.

There's 2 kinds of signs:

 

Speed Camera : I think everyone should know what it means.. It's the speed camera as the name suggest that'll senses your speed..

 

Camera zone : I believe it is referring to the cameras mounted along the lamp posts that monitors the traffic situation on the expressway.. It will take note of the vehicles along the road shoulder and would activate the emas tow truck via the emas control centre..

Just drives within speed limit +/- 10km & you never need to worry about speed cams.
