Neutral Newbie

Depends on your budget friend.

Who doesn't like continental hot hatch? I do. It's about the maintenancewise.

If only i have extra bucks,i will go either for Volkswagen Golf GTi or Fiat Bravo T-Jet.

aiyah....

the SSS only good if you drive on your own...

when family comes into the equation,

i'm sorry but you gotta look elsewhere.....

and yes, comparing the Colt Plus with the previous 2005-2008 Fit/ Jazz, obviously the Colt Plus is much sturdier built and has a slightly more spacious interior,

but comparing with the aft 2008 Fit/ Jazz, which is the model we have now, i'd take the Fit/ Jazz anytime man.... (of course, that's if you can bear the taxi image this car carries with it now)....

a good alternative to the Fit/ Jazz would be the Toyota Ractis.....

had driven my cousin's one before and it's super spacious!!! I'd recommend this car if space is all you need!!!

How come Sirion not inside... v underrated vehicle...1.5 vvt-i engine powering 800kg car = fast fast and FC-king..

and its definitely more spacious than SSS...

I also dun like... just mentioned that it is a good buy...

Sirion interior spartan.. but actually materia interior also sama sama.... always thought that materia must be fully ICE-ed and interior decked out in leather to give the feel man.

Yes, I'm comparing it with the old fit model, not so clear about the new one. But I believe Kah motor is selling jazz at quite a good price now and it seems to package it with a really high OMV. So the choice is quite clear, take the 1.5 jazz with sunroof, oh yeah.

BUt if you looking at used car, colt plus definately better and cheaper. Believe me, it is one of the best in this category. And a quote 11.2 sec 0 - 100 timing is quite hard to beat for a car so full of features.

erh,

just to point out,

that the Jazz KM is selling especially the 1.5L model is YOM2008....

as for the 1.3L, i think it's late YOM 2009 and YOM2010....

but can you live with the taxi image this car carries with it now???

how about the new Fiat Punto Evo???

just checked with the salespeople today,

the car now going for $77,265 after discounts....

same price for the 1.4L 77bhp 5Dualogic (semi-auto gearbox) or the 1.4Multiaire 105bhp 6MT....

panoramic sunroof add $3,100 more....

if you really want Daihatsu,

i'd recommend the Materia....

it's a no-no to Sirion for me....

just don't like that car....don't ask me why....

haha....

Materia - if you are after superb handling.

Sirion - if you are after internal storage.

Materia is bigger than Sirion, but too much wasted space. You will have hard time finding places to put your barang-barang.

Both got great internal head and leg room that many 2L executive sedans can't even match.

Hee! The Sirion is like a rebadged Perodua MyVi right? The two are similiar in appearance and Daihatsu has something going with that Malaysian marque if I'm not mistaken...

i like simple cars.

polo will get my vote.

Polo GTi !

On a serious note, Polo, I think have one of the best built quality & safety features compare to the others. Some more got choice of 7 speed dsg (if I remember correctly).
