Acerchan2002 Clutched June 8, 2010 Share June 8, 2010 Don't bother with small CC Getz.. Currently 7th year getz. hit 110km/h steering starts to vibrate(never do high speed balancing). 120km/h wind noise(door rubber wear) . 1.3A, slight upslop on highway speed will drop from 90-80 even u kickdown. If wanna get Getz, get the 1.6M .

RayTan Neutral Newbie June 15, 2010 Share June 15, 2010 I have driven both getz 1.6m and swift 1.5a though its not a direct comparison, here are my comments abt these 2 rides Swift 1.5a handling is very good, there is decent pickup, fc is abt 12.5km/l, interior is quite well built but small boot space compare to getz Getz 1.6m pickup is very good, u feel the torque at 2nd & 3rd gear most, its gives u the cheap thrill of driving it Bad point of getz is 3dr only for manual, interior rattling sound, stale interior & plastic feel, fc is abt 11km/l but probably due to its power, i tend to step more on the gas The 05 getz mileage i have driven was 150k+, so i think korean car reliability should not be too bad... If you on low budget and dont mind 3dr, get the getz 1.6m for the fun... 1.6a no drive before so no comments If you budget allows few k more, get the swift bah for the better built car Swift sport wins all if u have the budget of coz ... I'm driving a 1.6A Getz - Everything is fine except the interior rattling sound as mentioned by Kerwen. I wonder what is the problem to this? Does all getz get this? Any bros can advice? Kb27 Supersonic June 15, 2010 Share June 15, 2010 Rattling is always something loose somewhere. You need to find the source and kill it. If you put a pen on one of the little shelves and let it roll around freely, you will also get the rattling. The other thing may be a damaged plastic clip inside the door panels which can cause rattling while the car is moving. ↡ Advertisement
