Btw, in case you are still doubt the photos were submitted, I still have the emails in which soft copies of the photos were submitted to the lawyer. You need to see as proof, contact me. And I personally printed out the hard copies that were submitted together with the report. You think they were to your advantage so I couldnt possibly have submitted them? Stop accusing me falsely. I know that I was already reversing before you came out to adjust your parking. Obviously you will say you came out before I started to reverse. Had already been advised this since the day I consulted workshop and made report so I'm not surprised.

 

Individual accounts all given to independent authorities and photos were submitted too for them to judge whose account is true. U thought no photos were submitted and a false report was made? Sorry I don't stoop so low. So stop your false assumptions and accusations. I'm surprised your insurer can tell you so many details and they didn't tell you there were photos submitted. I don't even know anything other than that $100+ my insurer paid out last August. I don't even know the claim amounts and obviously I didn't know what was in your accident report.

From the photos, which is a mere snapshot of that moment, imho, it is the reversing Lancer who initiated contact with the Latio.

 

Cos if its the other way, it'll be the front left bumper of the Latio hitting the left rear side of the Lancer - as opposed to what the photos indicate.

Your car has a tailgate and that is costly to repair. A normal jap sedan bumper is as cheapo as it can be. 4k I can get custom CF bumper maybe still got some change.

I remember that we met again later at the food court and you came to ask my hubby to email you the accident. I do not remember u asking for my NRIC, at least not in front of me. My hubby exchanged particulars with you earlier at the carpark. If u had wanted my NRIC no, I would've given you.

 

My hubby never raised his hand at you at all okay. The cheek of you to say that. Ur wife said she wanted to call the police not because he was threatening you as you alleged but because she said he was scolding vulgar language at you. Which he did apologise and said it was because of your wife later on. Don't anyhow add ingredients to the story. You think I will be so stupid as to stand there and watch if he is going to do something like that? It's not worth it.

Believe it or not, I don't have a copy of the report. Everything was passed to workshop and lawyer. If u have it then post lor.

 

C'mon la u really know how to twist the story, leave out certain things and add others to result in a totally different story of what actually happened. You state the story as if i was stopped at your left for nothing while you slowly came out of your lot to adjust parking. As if I was reverse parking at high speed from a mile away? The other end of the carpark maybe? In reality i switched to reverse gear the moment i stopped, as any normal driver will do, not stopped there to dally with hazard lights on. But nvm, it is never expected for both sides to have the same account. Now I fully understand what ppl have been telling me about the ability of the other party to twist story to his favour. And you have the cheek of accusing me of making a false report. Photos tell all. How far you were out of your lot, angle of vehicles & point of contact. What is questionable.

 

Theres a reason why we left it to independent authorities to settle. So if u are not happy with their decision then there's no one preventing you from taking further action with them.

tailgate was fine, still can open and shut, its only my bumper that was carved in. They only change the bumper.

 

Other cars like airwave *might* need to change the whole tailgate due to the design.

If your car didn't come with the Impul kit then the repair cost is ridiculous. Couple of years back i rear ended a Honda stream. His tailgate and bumper got damaged the total repair cost was barely 3k. I guess your AD labor cost must have cost a bomb.

Again, my insurance company and I got the same copy of document from your lawyer firm who represent you and there is no attachment of photos of the scene that you have taken. I think you better check again with your lawyer firm or your workshop.

 

BTW, did you write, sign and check on your accident report personally before submission?

But Mister, no one is stopping you from calling police if as you alleged u were threatened and intimidated and my hubby tried to beat u up, which is all untrue. Ur Hp with u, hands are urs and not controlled by us and as u said it is a public place with many ppl walking to and from their vehicles. If u think you have legal grounds to say you were criminally intimidated and my hubby had intent to hurt u then will you not call TP just because I say don't bother to? If he is so aggressive as u claim, will you later still go up to us at the food court and dare to ask us for photos?

 

The signature on the report form is mine, so are particulars. I don't have copies of neither mine nor ur accident reports. I don't know how much was claimed, both ur side and my side. But I believe there are independent surveyors to assess damages and claims. I left everything to workshops, lawyers & insurers to decide. My NCD is suspended, until when I still do not know. As is yours I guess. Would I be so dumb to go to insurance and risk everything if the accident were solely caused by me?

 

As far as I am concerned, when I stopped and checked before reversing, you are not in the main road. Cars behind stopped for me. You dare deny u were fully parked before the accident? U think the car on ur right will stop for u without u showing any intention of coming out of the lot? Did u on headlight, hazard light, did u even head out first? Your own conscience knows. So u tell me what will make the car kn ur rigt stop for you? Goodness.. You must've thought he stopped for you when he actually stopped for me then you quickly went forward without noticing i was already reversing into the lot! By the time u r out and saw, too late. I put reverse gear the moment I stopped. So it is not possible u can see my car stationary with hazard lights but no reverse lights as you claim. But of course you will claim to your own advantage. Cannot believe that the claim is 4 figures for the Lancer based on the photo posted. I was thinking a couple of hundreds spent and move on. I was terribly wrong.

 

I learnt something today.... never to look at stuff on the surface only.

Can share with us, if your husband did exchanged his particulars with the other driver instead of you? False/substitute particulars to deceive is a serious offence. It may affect judgement in court for yourself and your husband (did you possess valid Driving Licence at least Class 3 not 3A unless it was automatic transmission car?)
