Be careful of J eyes, a friend of mine was caught in the middle of the nite moving off even when traffic lights were red. Following week, got letter fm TP kena fined and demerit points.

confirm chop guarantee that it can also serve for that purpose.coz my colleague kena the same thing and same explanation.and the said junction has no red light cameras..

am amaze it can capture licnse plate in the night though... some have zooming capabilities, wonder the j eye got how many zoom power.

think they screen thru the video. see the red light and your fren jus zoom across no stop.

WTF, i thought they have to declare cameras as red light cameras and put up warning signs slightly before reaching the cams themselves ???

 

Red light cameras are meant for preventing accidents and not a revenue generator for the TP/LTA.

Ah so.... My GPS gave out a "camera" warning along clementi road towards ulu pandan near Ngee Ann poly. Does this warning refer to the J Eye when I'm sure there isn't any known speed cam?

From my work experience, Nope.

J-eyes for LTA & Red light Cam for TP.

However, Police can request for a video footage on the J-eyes.
