Marina Barrage, not many people. But will be slightly blocked by MBS.

Or you don't mind paying to get a good view, you can go to MBS's skypark.

honestly, the fireworks display in Singapore is NOT nice compare to other countries...

Fully agreed. I have seen other countries' fireworks and they are very nice and last longer than the NDP's duration.

Any lobang ?

If you like to see it from AFAR.. go to Jurong Hill (above Jurong Bird Park) the Japanese Restaurant...

You will see the Firework mushrooming from the horizon - and if you take Video or Photos in the Dark Skyline its actually very beautiful !

Helix bridge will not be blocked, and that's depending on where you stand also.

Esplanade and Merlion Park, is a good view. But you won't be alone.

Or you can go 'book' place, but aunties and uncles, always go pretty early.

like 1pm, 2pm+ ?

I am not sure about how much are the tickets.

The website didn't provide full details.

But you want go up, got forbidden items one!

There are restaurants, and a club, and a swimming pool and TONS of free space.

I think is $25. But it will definitely have the best view since some of the firework are shot up from the bay area..

So cheap? Really? I expected it to be like really expensive or what... Hahaha.

Right, and the tickets are can be only bought on the spot and for the day itself.

And first come first served basis.

the fireworks I watched in Atami, Japan totally blew me away.

It's fired from the platforms on the sea, and the viewing gallery is on the beach. The nearby hills create an echo acoustics which amplifies the booming of each firework. And they are really really low, almost in your face.

30 mins to an hour. really had our fill of fireworks there. I strongly recommend it to all.

You have to check the schedule for when they are on, and take the train to JR atami station, and follow the crowd. definitely worth it!

speaking of which I just saw some fireworks from my house (30+ floor, facing MBS). and then some light shows like HK's symphony of lights.
