Bro, this is not joke

 

my 2nd year room mate studied civil engineering and he told me that one of the key consideration when constructing a building is whether the soil can hold the building.......

 

he say in total, SG can only hold so much buildings.....

 

Sure or not? I graduated from civil engineering but I learned that buildings can be built on all type of soil leh.

btw just curious, do CEE teach about black sand to replace some % of sand to make concrete??
