Typical S'porean reaction or rather no action. Funny no one called the MIB or it is already a known fact that they will not take action even if they come?

Hope that bugger can be traced.

wah lau he could have alerted ppl arnd and everyone could have subdued him what!

you mean nowadays sporeans really don't bother to help anyone in danger anymore???

what is happening??? [confused]

I agree

I was having a conversation with a jap business associate when suddenly I heard a young boy crying "ah ma! ah ma!"

I turned around and saw an old lady with her face on the drainage cover; obviously fainted

My business associate and myself ran to them and tried to at least help the old lady to a more comfortable position (she was like all distorted); while I shouted for help.

A lifeguard was in the area and he picked up his first aid kit and ran to us. One group of young men (in their late teens) still sat there and shook their legs.

The old lady then woke up; the manager of the clubhouse and some staff came to help. The family came along, and finally the old lady woke up, not knowing what had happened, and then an ambulance was called.

The group of young men's nonchalent attitude left me very disturbed. WTF is going on with our youths?

Neutral Newbie

[whip] Mr Toh shld have stop the action upon seeing the owner thrown the dog violently onto the floor. The poor dog would not have die so miserably. If he would have done so other passerby will come forward to help him. If the owner don't want to look after the dog, then jus let him go. Maybe the dog will find a good owner which can treat him better. Hope that SPCA and the police will take serious action against the owner.

Mr Toh was saying someone among the bystander told him tat guy could hit anyone...if they decide to overpower him together, I don't see why they could not subdue him and free the dog? that guy wasn't armed or anything....don't they feel uneasy/sadden seeing a dog being beaten alive like that and they just stand there and watch?
