Customized a set of 20mm hubcentrics for a flushed looked with the side fenders. Also lowered my ride, and so far this combo for 1.5years and everything is good. No vibrations or weird stuff going on. But down side is that turning radius now increased, reverse parking can't clear in 1 go.

thanks for your response bro...

actually i'm asking this cause i feel like putting wheel spacers on my rears... but i'm an FF car... doing so might kill my car's balance... have you heard of ppl only doing front or rear only? dub perhaps but just wanna know...

and your wheel spacer how thick ah? got size one i remember seeing... and you lowered? got bars? or did nothing except spacers??

thanks

i scared wheel drop out :blink:[dizzy]

i know it is just my irrational fears [:/]

not irrational it has happened

the cars bearings, axles, studs etc are designed to handle certain forces, by adding spacers your increasing the loads. This may be ok, it may not depending on how much your increasing the loads - but certainly you will be increasing the loads, reducing safety margins and shortening component life.

Are u currently on spacers? Thinking of putting on some spacers just to get wheels flush with sides of body.

no not on spacers... i feel more sercure without them... heard of high speed vibrations due to spacers... but then also heard of some with no problems...

anyways just to share my thoughts... i've seen getz, avantes, lancers with spacers and it protrudes a little out, its damn ugly... unless the car has more obvious fenders shapes... BMWs... Civic EGs... look great with spacers...

for my car now, its low enough for my tyres to hit the fenders during very hard driving so spacers are not an option... i was on 55s now 50s so less chance to hit...

Thinking of how i can get my car to have that flushed BMW look. U know when the tyre just rubs the fender with 1 finger gap.

Thinking of upping rolling diameter by one size, putting 22mm spacer and rolling fenders, lower car by another 1/2inch. the BMW look really gets me. [flowerface]

i think its the chassis and car frame that makes the shape cause not all cars can do what you just described... ^_^

Bro can recommend the shop you fix? How much will it roughly cost?. Thank you.

Done mine at Eng Wah Tyres at Toa Payoh industrial estate, look for Vincent.

Tel number I can't remember, but can google or find from sgcarstore.

He quite steady, I was a first time customer and all I did was make a call to him, told him how thick I want the spacers and for what car and rims.

Didn't put any deposit, he customized the spacers and called me 2 days later to inform me ready to fit.

i wonder if i can get mine to reach this type of hella flush.

Anyone here on hellaflush? does it feel like 0 suspension travel?

I guess it's more of a "Form>Function". Had thoughts about going hellaflush but then my ride is a grocery getter so it ain't really ideal.

What's your ride btw?

I don't know, others might find it stupid but for me .. "Haters gonna hate". ;)
