vet also suspect infection besides genetics.

i am not sure if she was affected by a bad batch of food (it was recalled but i am not sure if i am hit by it) whereby those money faced manufacturers or their OEM factories used melamine to boost protein content. I believe most brands, regardless whether branded, holistic or not, use Chinese factories. Ask your close pet shop owner. They will know because the external carton boxes the food arrives in will state the country of manufacture. my pet shop owner refuses to tell me but he said so with a knowing smile.

Same, vet said the same thing. I'd say for mine is genetics, if viral, my other cats would have gotten affected as well.

One I'm using is made in the UK, not MIC(key mouse).

ship food is damn expensive due to the weight.

but i do ship in her medicine which is cheaper in the UK due to strong SGD. I also buy Revolution from UK website. My boy is allergic to mites and R seems to control it quite well. Only problem is I have to put R on all of them, which is damn expensive as it costs around $8 per month per cat. [bigcry]

I did make a load of savings vs buying from the local agent, and also the trying part of getting them

on the bloody phone and their suka suka last minute change delivery date.

I use revolution as well, seems now Vivo has a new drop for mites, and I'm going to get that one for the just in case moment.

Raw food is raw lor, I give my boys raw pork,

Beef, venison. Liver and heart I will blench till

Cooked, then slice and give them.

I completely stopped Royal Canin. Also note that

RC prices have gone thru the roof. Time to change to

Something far healthier and natural for your cat.

popok can't change as his cat has uti. so far, i think only sc diet and royal canin cover such prescribed diet. the other brands in shops are not certified for uti cats.

royal canin is much tastier than sc diet. not sure what is put in them but most of my cats will prefer that over their regular natural balance duck with green pea.

how much is the holistic health?

you can't tell from the plastic/paper packaging unless you see the carton box from the pet shop. see if you have chance to find a big carton of unopened ones.

RC is sure tastier, I took a few bits and tried, vs SD, SD is so blend and crappy! [laugh]

Holistic one is $32 for a 2kg pack.

that's quite a good price. my natural balance is ~$64 for 4.5kg or $14/kg (vs yours $16/kg). where you buy from? I googled and seems no online shop stocks it.

Later I whatapps you the dealer I get mine from. She's with the SG Cat Club.

Yeah I changed vendor, last one got damn arrogant, told him no one at home,

he still left the order outside my house, end ended up got stolen. Of course he blamed

it on me, saying I could have taken it and say stolen, after so many years dealing with him,

he can say this, I decided to fark him off.

If you want, can come my place when I get back and I give you a bit to try with your cats,

see how they respond before you buy the whole bag. I just ordered 20kgs.

hi guys

I did something which has been bugging on my conscience for a while.

a few months back.. I saw a litter of kittens which was abandoned by their mother at my work place.. 5 of them, i think barely a week old.. that place is very dangerous as there's alot of heavy machinaries moving around..I found a carton box and put them inside..I monitor for the whole day and i did not see the mother return. I decided to bring them back. But then, Ive never kept kittens before and have no idea how to rear them. I talked to a few aunties whom always feed the cats at my void deck..and they advised me to call the SPCA. They told me that kittens are very fragile and if not raised properly will die. Thus I called in the SPCA.

Later I found out that normally SPCA will put the animals to sleep.. especially kittens..

Should I just leave the kittens at its original place?

My suggestion is give them some pet milk out of syringe, slowly.

Kittens need to be fed small amounts every 4hours.

I'll PM you a couple of care-givers numbers. Let them know the story, they should be able to help out.

Think the mother cat should be frantic she can't find her kittens. Normally she will be in the vicinity.

Edit: Wait....I just saw 'a few months back'. So they are several months already?

How to return to mummy, now few months old? You have to contact the Cat Society and have them look for

people who want to adopt. Next time don't remove, the mother cat would have been searching like crazy,

also picking them up at such a young age, you will have added your scent to them, not a good idea, so next time

monitor from a distance, don't touch them.
