Tohto Hypersonic October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 3 stations, 4km and it take them 10yrs to build When I visiting relatives in Boleh land Kulai in the 70s and early 80s, always laughing that they take for ever to widen or construction of new road when I visited there year after year. But now we are in 2015 and we need 10yrs to build 4km of MRT line, with so many previous experience already ↡ Advertisement

Myxilplix Turbocharged October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 The Keppel station looks to be planned on land that is currently used by PSA and those are scheduled to move out at 2027, so I'm not how they're going to work it.

But now we are in 2015 and we need 10yrs to build 4km of MRT line, with so many previous experience already my take is these extra stations are not exactly mission critical ... let the other existing projects be further completed first so less strain on labour and material resources. to give time for PSA to move out so maybe a bit easier to dig after that. and also time for URA to carve up the plots of land for tendering out. now little red dot everywhere also digging ... sigh ... oleandero 5th Gear October 30, 2015 Share October 30, 2015 Dont like that say leh. When EW line 1st completed, used to take from Boon Lay to Pasir Ris and back for fun. Last time also used to take bus from terminal to terminal(City Shuttle Service, no.3 from St Michael's to Shenton Way) and Interchange to Interchange(SBS, no. 143 from Toa Payoh to Teban Gardens). Student price, 10cents for CSS and 20cents for SBS. hahahah.. this reminds me when i was younger.. took first train on NS line after a night out in town.. woke up with packed train and god knows how many times the train bounced from one end to the other already.. Happily1986 5th Gear October 31, 2015 Share October 31, 2015 i propose renaming this Circle Line as the McNugget line. It does resemble a McNugget more. ↡ Advertisement
