Any 98 fuel i come across, shell/caltex/bp/mobil all fair game.

 

My car not really tuned for any special fuel anyway.

 

Singapore still have BP and Mobil kiosks or not?

anyway, why the poll?

 

No particular reason. Just see which one got more supporters.

 

Generally there are no real difference in the product. Just a matter of branding and perception.

 

Esso took over Mobil's kiosks and SPC took over BP's kiosk. Is it 100%?

think so.

 

Anyway, different petrol company. the exhaust fumes smell also different. (that is what someone told me)

might be the different additive bah.

 

but personally, (butt dyno of couse) Shell seems to be more powerful for the same grade.

yes that i will second. different petrol brand the fumes also different smell.

 

im surprise shell gt so many supporters...

 

my personal experience shell is rough and gives bad FC.

I think it has got to do with the fact that Shell sponsors Ferrari and their stations has a nice color and 7-11.

SPC cause of the discounts.

 

All petrol in SG is the same base, then the individual coys add their respective additives right ?

 

My low pok chia, no difference using any of the petrols.

[laugh] abt the 7-11. i prefer ntuc xpress and starmart more.

melbourne also have caltex, shell, BP leh... caltex if i didnt remember wrong is tie to safeway. den shell is to coles.

Haha, my car from the start feels no diff with the petrols,

i even made the effort to try the different stations when i first got the car.

 

But there is no difference. Only diff i can feel is with petronas in malaysia, feels more torquey.

 

Its now a 5yr old car only.

 

My doctor uncle once told me :: The best foods in life are the ones worst for the body.
