WoW!! Great planning! Unfortunately for me, am teaching so can't afford to miss that many classes. But will try to finish early on the day itself of course!

 

For me, I'm flexi! Can meet-up anytime after work, or over the weekends. You still wanna look for t-shirts or have already go yours from America

 

No lah, I went to Peninsula Shopping Centre and got a 4XL Tee of "Death On The Road" from one of the shops there. Not my first choice, but heck, it's the only one that'll fit me, so can't complain. Can you believe I couldn't find a single metal Tee in the US (San Diego) - but I wasn't looking too hard. But you'd probably find less metal fans in the US than you'd assume - they're much more prevalent in some parts of Europe. A lot of Americans are still into sh*tty music like Taylor "slow".

Last time during the Metallica concert (first heavy metal concert in SG), we could stand up but I noticed there were pple in the various seats that weren't really into it. I guess they are undercover police to monitor the situation.

 

metallicxa was not the 1st metal concert in sg! they were a few that preceded it and mostly attended by mats and minahs! there were of course fights and fisticuff and the worst was by a local band (sweet charity late 70's) where the whole place (national theater)was turned upside down and the reserved unit had to be called in.

I myself attended one back in 85 where a host of locals and malaysian bands played and it was rocking too cause no one gave a hoot about the police and security team until they threatened to cancel the show.

souvenir for tha night was a torn jacket and a ringing ear that kept ringing for days on end

We haven't quite discussed who's going with whom, whereabouts to meet, and all those other details. But we do intend to meet-up and get acquainted sometime before the concert. I've been lifting iron and on heavy metal for so long alread,y, my kids, wife, whom I would not have married if she didn't love metal, and my sister who art, Thou be in the GENES!! WooooHoooooooo!!

 

 

Eyh, 4-5th cannot, I got to cook for my old team, and guest, open house, but not open to MCF metal fans...kekekekekeke..... Play by ear, before 15th or MU before the concert, I kind of feel I will be "falling sick" on that day from work.......wahahahahahaha.....

Understand your commitments. But methinks 4th is going to be the day, though cannot confirm how many of us going yet.

15th pm also can, but should we try and get there early? CP might be really crowded by 6pm. BTW, are you all driving there or taking "BMW"?
