Traveling to Israel

My neighbor in bolehland....he went to Israel. He said, he didn't go direct to Israel from Boleh land. Instead, traveled to neighbouring muslim country first and then crossed over. If you do it this way, they'll stick a piece of paper on your PP instead of stamping. Then when you're done, you can just tear it off.

becos bolehland has no diplomatic relationship with country X, so he needs to get the VISA. in any case, there are no direct flight from SG to there, u have to transit from somewhere still.

Been there last year only.

It's true you may face problem entering some countries with israel stamp on your passport.

What you can do is to request israel custom to stamp your entry on a piece of paper rather on yr passport.

If not worst to worst, just change your passport when you come back.

Entering malaysia with israel stamp is not a problem.

And wish you a good trip and just prepare for 100% check when you go in/out of custom.

A friend was there recently. You need to take a piece of paper from your travel agent, then hand it over to the immigration officer stamping your passport. They will then stamp on the paper instead of your passport. That way, there isn't any sign of entry to isreal.

Hope the info helps.

Was in israel 2004.

At ICA, u will be given a new passport stamped Valid for Israel only and it is valid for one yr only.

With an Israeli stamp, you can go indonesia and malaysia BUT NOT middle east countries like dubai, iran and so on. Egypt and Jordan, you have no issues either way as they have signed a peace treaty. For syria, you can go to israel but not vice versa.

If i recall correctly, right now no need for a visas to go israel but should u need to go, be sure to check. cos when i went to israel, i was issued a single entry visas with specific dates of entry and departure in it. So should u say, want to make a day trip from israel to cairo then come back, be sure u can enter israel again

Important thing is that u prepare for security clearance at ben gurion airport. It is extremely strict. If u think US is bad, u have seen nothing yet.

I've been to Israel a couple of times. You can either ask them to stamp on a blank piece of paper, or you can go ICA to make a separate passport that is only valid for Israel. Bring both your passports together with you if you opt for the latter option.

Will be making a trip to the country on business and heard many nice thing about it...;Places and etc....

But One thing i heard is that, if you got a Israel stamp on your passport. Next time, when you travel to a country like Bolehland....or middle eastern countries....(I don't want to state too clearly on the religion thingy to avoid bringing that into discussion...so i hope when u add comment here....pls be mindful not to offence our brother/sister...) , you will faced an issue with the custom....They will question you like you are their parents killer...Anyone have experienced that? My EU counterpart used a second passport to travel so he wont faced issue when traveling to middle east, indo and Bolehland.....

Congrats, X is a nice place. Spent 10 weeks there 10 years ago.

Love the med sea at tel aviv, red sea at Eilat and dead sea at Jerusalem.

If you are a Christian or Catholic, you'd appreciate that place even more.

The journey there's a killer though. My first and only 21 hour flight (but got short transit in Germany la)

is israel considered a christian or islamic/muslim country?

forgive me for any ignorance or offence.

Neither bro. It is Jewish. That piece of land has religious significance for the Jews, Christians and Muslims, all Abrahimic religions or people of the book as the Muslims call it if I got that right

I am currently in Israel on a business trip now.

It is best recommended to apply for another passport meant for Israel entry through ICA. So you will be holding two passports.

And of course Singaporean Muslims can enter Israel, there's quite a number of them I know are over here already.

For smooth immigration entry through their airport, print along invitation letter to be shown to the customs (get it from your company), if you are on a business trip.

It is advisable not to lock your luggage, you might encounter delays, if you know what I mean.

As for the Muslims, please prepare yourself for some questions on your family background.
