Grix17 Clutched November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 Has anyone seen learner drivers on the expressways? I was travelling on SLE towards CTE near the Thomson Rd exit and there was this SSDC Honda City (the old ugly one) travelling in the middle lane at about 70 km/h. It was about 9 pm and the driver was a bit unsteady. After overtaking, I saw 2 men in the car. Clearly the driver was the learner. Are learner drivers now allowed to drive on expressways? Or could it be an orientation/conversion lesson? The driver was certainly a bit kayu and almost swerved from lane 2 to lane 1. ↡ Advertisement

Any traffic jam behind or near accidents? The Instructor must be having hard time orientating his pupil about Expressway driving (Lane 1 for overtaking within 90km/h speed limit). Better learn with Instructor now than through accidents after passing Driving Test(s) Ironically, a handful of MCF authors (TS) were recommended to attend Refresher Driving lessons for not know how to apply the Highway Code well, or lacks proper training/practice

Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear November 19, 2010 Share November 19, 2010 u mean like signal light? liddat i tink alot of ppl will be guilty of it at one time or the other and the driving centres money will big big You got the point. You are right. Some drivers only signal after filtering/turning done. Some only signal after being horned at. Some no idea which lane to drive car. Some no idea the speed limit. Some do not know how to reverse park their car. So you investing in any Driving Centre?

Crazecow Neutral Newbie November 23, 2010 Share November 23, 2010 Yes, if you are taking advance driving course or refresher course, you are allowed to drive on the expressway (cause the driver already has a driving license). If no license strictly cannot go expressway. ↡ Advertisement
